West Coast sports roundup, Week 51: Seahawks keep rolling, Padres get Justin Upton

Another week of December has past, and the world of sports continues on.

In the NFL, the playoff picture is almost all set with just one more week of the regular season to go. In the MLB, the offseason is in full effect with teams looking to improve either by trade or through free agency. In the NHL, the conference standings are beginning to take shape with nearly three months of the season complete. In the NBA, teams are looking to position themselves in their respective divisions to make a run at a playoff spot. Finally in college football, the bowl games are underway with several upsets and blowouts expected along the way.
