West Coast sports roundup, Week 49: Galaxy win MLS Cup, Oregon in College Football Playoffs

The first week of December has quickly come to a close, and the world of sports continues on.

In the NFL, the playoff picture has become a bit more clearer and teams are jocking for a playoff spot with just three weeks left. In the NBA, divisions are beginning to take shape with the first fourth of the regular season now in the books. In the MLB, the offseason is in full effect with teams looking to make moves to improve their teams for the upcoming season.

In the MLS, the Los Angeles Galaxy claimed it’s fifth MLS Cup title with a 2-1 win over the New England Revolution. Finally, the college football playoffs are now set with Alabama, Florida State, Oregon, and Ohio State the final four teams.
