West Coast sports roundup, Week 44: Galaxy advance to West Finals, 49ers win in OT

Another week of November has past, and the world of sports continues on.

In the NBA, the regular season has reached the two-week mark and the Golden State Warriors were the last of the undefeated teams to fall. In the MLB, the offseason is in full effect with awards being given out and the free agency period to follow. In the NHL, divisional races are beginning to take shape with each team hoping to make a playoff run. In the MLS, the playoffs are in full effect with eight teams vying for a championship. Finally, the college season is near its final stretch with teams looking to position themselves in the top four for the playoffs.

Here is what happened in sports the past week across the West Coast and around the nation.
