West Coast sports roundup, Week 43: Giants win World Series, UCLA squeezes by Arizona

The month of October has quickly come to an end, and the world of sports continues on.

In the NBA, the 2014-15 regular season kicked off this past week and teams are beginning to make their stake for a playoff push. In the MLB, the San Francisco Giants claimed their third World Series title in the last five years with a 4-2 series win over the Kansas City Royals. In the NFL, it was another competitive week of action with division races now taking shape. In the NHL, the regular seasons is nearing the one-month mark with the usual teams atop of their respective divisions. Finally, college football had yet another exciting week of games with much movement in the top 25.
