The San Diego Chargers have been decimated by injuries through the first four-weeks of the season; received some great news on Friday. According to Rick Henne of the Chargers and Michael Gehlken of UT-San Diego, former third-overall pick DE Joey Bosa was left off of the injury report and is set to make his NFL debut on Sunday against AFC west rivals the Oakland Raiders.

It will remain to be seen how the Ohio State product Bosa performs or if he will be on a snap-count as he has missed a lot of time away from the team due to a lengthy contract dispute, that was not resolved till August and a nagging hamstring injury that consumed his September.

Regardless, the Chargers front office, coaches and fans will be eagerly waiting to see if Bosa can live up to the hype and bring some life to this deflated Chargers team.

Optimistically, if Bosa can translate his college game to the NFL, he will have a pretty good first season despite missing the first four-games.

Against the Raiders:
Three tackles, one for a loss and one sack
