Los Angeles Rams concerned about Tre Mason

USA Today Sports

The Los Angeles Rams have not heard from Tre mason in seven months, according to ESPN.

On Tuesday, the Rams said they tried to get in touch with Mason. He was arrested in March on charges of reckless driving, marijuana possession and resisting arrest. The team has been unable to get answers about his condition or whereabouts.

Teammate Greg Robinson was in contact with Mason via text during the offseason, but Mason has changed his cell phone multiple times.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher told reporters that the team will continue to try and reach him. At this point, Fisher said the organization is more concerned with his well-being than football.

Just last week, it was reported that Mason had the police called to his family home multiple times during a few months span. Further, it was reported that his family was concerned for his well-being after a weird incident.

Mason is on the Reserve/ Did Not Report list, so he does not count against the 90-man training camp roster.

For his career, Mason registered 972 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns in 25 games and 12 starts.

This season, Mason had a $641,146 salary.  The 2014 third-rock pick was supposed to be a key reserve behind Todd Gurley. The Rams would have $318, 750 in dead money for cutting Mason this year.
