Los Angeles Lakers’ top 3 trade pieces

With the Los Angeles Lakers continuing their downward spiral this season, and the trade deadline quickly approaching, it begs the question if they will be active participants.

It is no secret that the Lakers have been searching for possible upgrades via trade over the past two months with reports stating that they had interest in acquiring the likes of Rajon RondoBrandon Jennings, Greg Monroe, and Dion Waiters.

There have also been many rumors over the past couple of weeks that they are eyeing a couple of young point guards such as Phoenix Suns’ Goran Dragic, and Oklahoma City Thunder’s Reggie Jackson, who are both set to become free agents this upcoming offseason.

What all of this indicates is that the Lakers’ front office will be busy on the phones over the next couple of weeks looking to make moves that will help improve the team in the long term. That said, here are three players that could be dealt prior to the Feb. 19 trade deadline:
