Jordan Bell on Dunk Contest: I’m All Able and Willing

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Jordan Bell has been making a name for himself in the NBA lately. If you haven’t heard of him, he’s the upstart rookie on the Golden State Warriors who infamously dunked on the Dallas Mavericks during a blowout game. It’s hard to believe a rookie could get shine on a team as stacked as the Warriors, but that’s exactly what he’s done. For those who haven’t seen the dunk:

The dunk caused quite a stir, upsetting Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle. The dunk caused enough of a stir that it has prompted some to wonder if Jordan Bell would be entering the dunk contest. Bell was asked about entering the dunk contest during an interview with SiriusXM NBA and said:

“I’m all able and willing. It’s just if my name gets called for it. I’ve got some stuff. I got some dunks.”
