Warriors’ rookie Jordan Bell faces the team that traded him on Draft Day tonight, the Chicago Bulls. Bell was drafted by the Bulls with the 38th pick, and was immediately traded to the Warriors for $3.5 million.

Bell spoke about the return during Friday’s shootaround:

“They made it clear they didn’t want me. They drafted me for the Warriors so I don’t take it to heart.”

Bell had also spoken about how he uses the trade as motivation:

“I use it as motivation as far as me playing for this team, and how much effort and money they spent to try to get me.”
Bell is only averaging 8.2 minutes per game, but despite these limited minutes he’s managed to put up 3.2 PPG on 70% shooting. Tonight, he’ll get a chance to show up with Draymond Green & Kevin Durant sitting out.
