Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was barely able to restrain himself from hitting Oklahoma City Thunder center Steve Adams, during a 131-116 loss. Cousins frustration came from Adams deliberately holding onto Cousins ankle to slow him down from getting back onto offense.

Cousins finished the night with 35 points and 12 rebounds in a losing effort. But this was a huge victory for Cousins who is known to be a hot head. Even before that little skirmish he got into a shoving match with Thunder star forward Kevin Durant.

The night just seemed like a constant test for Cousins, whose patience was running thin with every minute passing.

The Kings are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive, with about 24 games remaining opposing teams will look to poke and prod at the young center, so it will be crucial for the Kings coaching staff to keep Cousins from imploding and jeopardizing their playoff hopes.
