Big West school Cal State Northridge will hire former NBA player and head coach Reggie Theus, according to Andy Katz of ESPN. UCLA hires New Mexico head coach Steve Alford

UCLA hired New Mexico head coach Steve Alford for the same position on Saturday to replace Ben Howland. Alford will receive a seven-year, $18.2 million contract according to UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero.
