LeBron James makes appearance at Lakers’ Las Vegas Summer game

LeBron James

Since officially inking the four-year, $153 million deal to join the Los Angeles Lakers, All-Star forward LeBron James had yet to make a public appearance.

However, that changed on Sunday as he made his way out to Las Vegas to see the Lakers’ summer league team play against the Detriot Pistons as he was donning team-related attire with his shorts.

James was seen at the game embracing second-year guard Josh Hart prior to the game as well as chat quickly with third-year forward Brandon Ingram during the game.

There is a significant amount of buzz back in Los Angeles with James now a member of the Lakers that pushed forward some huge expectations next season. The 33-year-old is still playing some of the best basketball of his career heading into his 16th year in the league while the Lakers have put together a young and promising core group around him while added some proven veterans to the mix.

The fact that there was this much attention with him just showing up to a summer league game should be an indication of the high level of excitement about what may lie with James leading the charge to what could be an enticing and successful 2018-19 campaign in Los Angeles.
