The Los Angeles Clippers announced Saturday they had converted C.J. Williams‘ contract to a two-way agreement that would allow him to play for the team and its G League affiliate, while waiving Ike Iroegbu, Marshall Plumlee and Tyrone Wallace.
Williams made his mark this preseason appearing in four games for the Clippers, averaging 5.3 points, 1.8 assists in under 19 minutes per game.
The Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario did announce earlier the same day that the G League affiliate had acquired the rights to Wallace from the Salt Lake City Stars in exchange for its 2018 second round draft pick and the rights to guard Aaron Craft.
Wallace averaged 10 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1 steal in 21 minutes per game this preseason.
