The Los Angeles Lakers on Friday afternoon on social media revealed their new alternate uniforms for the upcoming season.

Unlike several of other teams in the NBA, there are minor alternations to the uniforms with the Lakers sticking close to their latest jersey style under the new Nike partnership.

The Lakers have yet to make any formal announcement as to when or how often the new alternate uniforms will be worn in the 2017-18. This type of uniform is typically worn on the road as Los Angeles usually sticks with the gold jerseys at home with the Sunday home attire being the white uniforms.

They are set to open the season at home against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 P.M. PT on a TNT televised game. In fact, Los Angeles plays five of their first seven games at Staples Center.
