The Los Angeles Clippers continue to battle the injury bug as they will now be without forward Blake Griffin for the remainder of the postseason.
He suffered an injury to the plantar plate of his right big toe in the second quarter of Friday’s game 3 in Utah.
The five-time NBA all-star has been plagued by injuries throughout his career, most recently last years playoffs. He suffered a quad injury in Game 4 of the Clippers’ first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Clippers were eliminated in six games.
Griffin will see a foot specialist once the team returns to Los Angeles following Game 4 in Utah on Sunday.
