L.A. Rams sell out season tickets, single-game tickets on sale this week

The Los Angeles Rams’ return to Southern California is picking up steam. All of the team’s season tickets sold out in six hours, according to L.A. Times staff writer Sam Farmer. The team will begin selling single-game tickets this week.

The Rams collected $100 deposits from potential season ticket buyers over a two-week span when they originally received approval to move. Months later, those deposits resulted in 24,000 season ticket holders purchasing 70,000 seats.

The Rams are expected to set their capacity at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 80,000 seats, which means roughly 10,000 single game tickets will be made available. Deposit holders will be contacted first for those limited seats before being made available to the rest of the public.

Relocation can be challenging for a franchise, but the Rams appear to be well on their way to a successful return to L.A. They will make their home debut against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, September 18.
