Meyers Leonard dislocates shoulder in a 113-101 loss against the San Antonio

Portland Trail Blazers center Meyers Leonard dislocated his left shoulder in a 113-101 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. It looks like Leonard got tangled up with David West and Kawhi Leonard during free throws midway through the third quarter. Leonard immediately grabbed his left arm and was escorted to the locker room.

It is still unknown how long he will be out, but typically athletes tend to miss 4-6 weeks with this kind of injury. Going into the game Leonard was averaging 8.6 points and 4.4 rebounds.

Leonard has not lived up the hype thus far but is still a significant part of the offense and his versatility will be missed.

Having said that this could be an opportunity for former lottery pick Noah Vonleh to showcase his many talents. Expect him to have an increased role on the team.
