It’s a known fact that Golden State Warriors superstar and last season’s NBA MVP Stephen Curry can do almost anything with a basketball. This play shows his incredible court vision as he finds Harrison Barnes for the easy dunk in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The first week of NBA action has featured plenty of eye-catching moments, but this is the reigning MVP picking up right where he left off. If that weren’t enough, Curry finished with 53 points, nine assists, four steals, four rebounds and just two turnovers.
It was a memorable stat line in a game that featured budding star Anthony Davis on the other side. These two will be fun to watch for years to come and are the future of the NBA. It’s a bright one, indeed.
It’s probably too early, but it’s worth asking anyway. Could Curry win two MVP awards in a row? Right now it looks as if it’s his to lose.
